Welcome to The3DGuy. By placing an order on this website, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

  1. Overview
    The3DGuy is a small UK-based business creating made-to-order 3D-printed items. All products are produced individually once an order is placed. These terms outline your rights and responsibilities when using our store.
  2. Made-to-Order Production
    All items are made to order unless otherwise stated. Production times may vary depending on workload, model complexity, and material availability.

Due to the nature of additive manufacturing, minor cosmetic variations, visible layer lines, small surface imperfections, or slight colour differences are normal characteristics of 3D-printed items and are not considered defects.

  1. Returns & Refunds
    Most items are made to order and personalised to customer selection. As such, they are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases, incorrect choices made at checkout, or unwanted items once production has begun.

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

  1. Damaged or Faulty Deliveries
    If your item arrives damaged:

• You must contact The3DGuy within 48 hours of delivery.
• You must provide clear photographs of the item and the external packaging.

Where damage has occurred in transit, we will open a claim with the delivery provider. Once sufficient evidence is provided and the claim is accepted, a replacement item will be provided at no additional cost.

  1. Shipping
    Shipping times vary depending on courier availability and customer location. Once dispatched, delivery delays caused by the courier are outside of our control.

Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate delivery details are provided when placing an order. We are not liable for delays or losses caused by incorrect address information.

  1. Pricing & Payment
    All prices are listed in GBP (£).

We reserve the right to update pricing, shipping rates, or product availability at any time without prior notice.

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.

  1. Cancellations
    Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun, as items are made to order.

If you need to request a cancellation immediately after purchase, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation requests are not guaranteed once manufacturing has started.

  1. Intellectual Property
    All 3D models sold by The3DGuy are either:

• Licensed for commercial use
• Purchased from creators with resale rights
• Designed and created in-house

You may not copy, scan, reproduce, distribute, or resell any designs or products sold by The3DGuy.

  1. Use of Products
    3D-printed items are decorative and/or collectible unless otherwise stated. They are not designed to be used as load-bearing tools, safety devices, structural components, or for any application beyond their intended decorative or display purpose.

Items should not be exposed to high temperatures (including direct sunlight in enclosed spaces or hot vehicles), as PLA material may soften or deform.

Breakage resulting from excessive force, misuse, modification, or unintended use is not considered a manufacturing fault.

  1. Product Classification & Age Guidance
    All items sold by The3DGuy are 3D-printed models intended for decorative and/or collectible purposes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Products are not classified as toys under UK toy safety regulations and are not designed, tested, or certified as children’s toys.

Some models may contain small parts and articulated components. These items are recommended for ages 14 and over and are not suitable for young children.

By purchasing from The3DGuy, you acknowledge that you understand the nature of these products and accept responsibility for ensuring they are used appropriately and under suitable supervision where necessary.

  1. Privacy
    Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
    We do not sell or distribute customer data to third parties.
  2. Changes to These Terms
    We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes take effect immediately when posted on this website.
